Ys vs. Trails in the Sky Confirms October Launch For Crossover Fighter
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga first launched in 2010 on PSP.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, the formerly Japan-only crossover PSP fighting game, will finally get localised next month.
Listen, you all knew I'd cover this once the news came out. Refint/Games previously announced that Nihon Falcom's crossover fighter between its two major RPG series, Ys and Trails, had been delayed from its summer 2025 launch on modern platforms without locking in a new launch date. Today, a new announcement confirmed it's now arriving on October 10.
Released in 2010, Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga first appeared as a PSP exclusive with a premise reminiscent of Dissidia Final Fantasy. Joining a growing list of late Western launches from Nihon Falcom, Ys vs. Trails had never been localised outside of Japan until now.
Featuring prominent heroes from both series, this non canon story features local and online multiplayer, alongside single player stories following specific characters. This remaster also promises upgraded visuals, 60 frames per second support, full English voice acting, cutscenes, and more.
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is heading to Switch, PlayStation, and PC digitally on October 10. A physical edition via Limited Run Games will follow at a later date.
