Rewinder: What We're Playing This Week (June 21, 2025)
Another varied week.

Edition #5 of 'What We're Playing' is live, and we're all reflecting on a long week.
This week's been another busy one for various reasons. Many of us are still catching up with the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, while more announcements just keep coming. I'd say it's a busy time, though truthfully, when is it not?
Plenty to look forward to, but in the meantime, here's what the team's been playing this week.
Henry

I beat Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I won't say more because I don't wanna spoil it but that was... wow, what a journey that was. Spending more time on Super Mario Odyssey as well, aiming to beat it again in preparation for Donkey Kong Bananza next month.
Otherwise, I finished Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping, which you can read my brief review on below.

Jason

I've not had much time to actually game this week, but I did run a really good D&D session where I got to play a villain for a little bit. It's always fun to do as a DM, and I always like putting the fear of the Gods into the player characters and players alike.
Lex

I have been in a Shin Megani Tensei mood this week having finished RAIDOU Remastered. This started with me playing several hours of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. This ended when I played it on a plane to Spain sat between two people and a character bounced so boobily into frame, I felt my soul leave my body. From there I hopped over to Persona 5 Strikers, a game which I really didn't click with at the time. I think I might just be becoming more forgiving or more accustomed to Omega Force combat all these years later, as I'm suddenly enjoying it much more. It also helps that it runs at a locked 30fps on the Switch 2. What MegaTen game will be next for Lexi? Devil Survivor? Digital Devil Saga? JACK BROS.? Who knows!?

Scott

I am out of review purgatory, so this week I'm finally digging into the Switch 2 properly outside of Mario Kart. I've got my Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough to continue thanks to crossplay, so there's likely to be a lot of that. Maybe a sprinkling of Hitman too.
