Rewinder: What We're Playing This Week (July 19, 2025)

We're back with a new edition of What We're Playing.

Let's be honest, I don't think this week's line-up will be especially surprising for most of you. We've all mostly jumped across several games, but there's one obvious contender among them all. As such, here's what the team's been up to.

Henry

Shovel Knight Dig and Rocket League aside, this week's seen me jumping into some smaller indies. No Case Should Remain Unsolved immediately grabbed me, I'm currently trying out Clone Drone in the Hyperdome, while I also found some time for Le Mans Ultimate and F1 25. That said, I'll be spending my weekend playing [REDACTED] and Donkey Kong Bananza.

Jason

I, too have succumbed to the Kong. Despite being a little underwhelmed in the first ten minutes or so, it quickly became apparent that Nintendo are, and stick with me on this, actually pretty good at making games. I know, shocking, right? We also hit the halfway point in my D&D campaign, or near enough, and I've been playing some Mario Kart World with the kids too. I crush them, it's like they don't know how to play yet or something.

But for real, it has been an unbelievably busy week for me. Some of it really good. Some of it much more stressful as I try to finalise getting a new passport in time for Gamescom.
