We Were Here Is Coming to Nintendo Switch This Year
First three games are on the way.

Compelling co-op puzzle series We Were Here is porting the first three games to Switch later this year.
Originally launched as a free game in 2017, We Were Here by Total Mayhem Games quickly grew into something more. Using a walkie-talkie for communicating with your partner, puzzles usually involves clearing them together while being unable to see each other. Now, the earlier games - We Were Here, We Were Here Too, and We Were Here Together - are heading to Nintendo Switch.
While it's not part of the upcoming Nintendo Switch releases, I fondly remember trying out We Were Here Forever back in 2022, joined by a voice actor during WASD for a co-op demo. My full impressions remain live at Eurogamer, but to summarise, I came away pleasantly surprised and found myself encouraged to continue while navigating a cleverly designed room.
Hopefully, we'll see Forever and the fifth entry, The FriendShip, eventually make that jump to Switch or at least Switch 2 in the future. That demo served as a great introduction that had me curious to explore the wider We Were Here series, and I'd be tempted to make those journeys once more.
A specific release date is unconfirmed, though it's arriving on Switch later this year with cross-platform support in development. The wider series is also available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
