SEDAP! Is a Southeast Asian-Themed Culinary Journey

SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure offers a perilous co-op adventure themed around Southeast Asian cuisine.

Developed by kopiforge, this cooking-themed co-op game takes inspiration from PlateUp! and Overcooked. SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure promises a journey across the island of Khaya. Our two culinary geniuses, Som the Cooker and Gon the Hunter, must fend off monsters through hack-and-slash combat in this otherwise abandoned land, searching for new recipes and uncovering this world's mysteries.

Describing Khaya as a “unique Southeast Asian-inspired fantasy world,” each biome comes with its own food, cooking methods and different wildlife. This includes different dishes considered popular in the region such as pineapple fried rice, chicken rice, bubble tea and more, while the 'Makanomicon' keeps track of all your learned recipes.

Though it's geared up towards co-op support, I'm pleased to see SEDAP! is also playable for solo adventurers. While it's been out for a while, why let that stop us writing up something of interest? Anyway, SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure is available now on PC, and it's coming to Switch, Xbox Series, and PS5 on October 22.
