Persona and Hades Are Both Hosting Live Concerts In London Next Year
All part of London's Game Music Festival.
London's Game Music Festival is hosting live concerts for Persona, Hades, and more next year.
Taking place across June 2026, the Game Music Foundation revealed its sixth edition is being hosted between London's Southbank Centre and Croydon's Fairfield Halls. Kicking this off on June 6 is The Infernal Symphony with music from Diablo, though which specific games isn't clear. June 13 features a 40th anniversary event celebrating Hitoshi Sakimoto, a composer best known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics; the line-up is currently unconfirmed.
June 19 then promises an evening with actor Troy Baker and composer Austin Wintory. A double bill on June 27 starts with “Ballads of the Underworld” for music from both Hades and Hades 2 with appearances from Darren Korb, Ashley Barrett, and more. Later that day, a Persona concert will follow featuring music from Persona 3, 4, and 5, with composer Shoji Meguro listed as a special guest.
I'll be attending both the Hades and Persona concerts, these soundtracks are some of the most iconic parts of both series. Good Riddance and Coral Crown remains stuck in my head, while I could be here for hours listing my favourite picks - Take Over, Gentle Madman, Daredevil, Mass Destruction - from Persona 3 and 5 (or related spin-offs) in particular.
June is a long wait, tickets are live now, and I'll look to share further thoughts about both concerts at the time.
