Emotional Adventure OPUS: Prism Peak Gets Steam Next Fest Demo
Demo remains available until October 20.

OPUS: Prism Peak, an emotional photography-driven adventure, received a Steam Next Fest demo.
For the unfamiliar, OPUS: Prism Peak marks the fourth entry in the long-running series by developer SIGONO. Offering a standalone story that doesn't require you to play the previous games, this focuses on 40-year-old Eugene, a divorced ex-photojournalist and café owner that's returned to his hometown.
Following a strange accident, he finds himself in a surreal world of fading light and fragile beauty known as the Dusklands. SIGONO aims to deliver a journey focused on the themes of grief and letting go, and Eugene's joined by a mysterious, amnesiac girl that only retains a single memory: wanting to return to a mountain in the Dusklands.
It's one of my most anticipated games still to launch this year, and I previously discussed how its immediate predecessor, Echo of Starsong, left me emotionally wrecked by the conclusion. I'll wait for the full release to deliver more in-depth impressions, though if Prism Peak can deliver another similarly heartfelt tale, you'll certainly hear about it from me.
OPUS: Prism Peak arrives this year on Steam. The demo will only be available during Steam Next Fest, which ends on October 20.
