D-Topia Is a Timely Puzzle Adventure About AI and Humanity
Out next year on PC and consoles.

Given the incessant AI push we're currently witnessing, D-topia couldn't be more timely.
Revealed by publisher Annapurna Interactive in a brief showcase for Tokyo Game Show 2025, D-topia by Marumittu Games describes itself as a gentle-paced puzzle adventure. With companies pushing for mass AI adoption while continuously ignoring major ethical concerns, it's a premise that caught my attention. Stepping between two different worlds to uncover secrets, D-topia questions finding purpose in a curated world.
Set in a world where life is controlled by artificial intelligence called The Utopia Project to maximise happiness, you play as a Facilitator tasked with solving puzzles to maintain both the facility and resident happiness. This promises a series of logic-based puzzles for resolving mechanical issues, while each resident has different stories to share as you gain their trust.
Beyond D-topia, Annapurna announced two further games during this showcase, with demos available for all three during Tokyo Game Show 2025. People of Note is a musically themed narrative adventure mixed with a turn-based RPG, while Demi and the Fractured Dream takes inspiration from classic action-adventure games.
D-topia launches next year on PC, Xbox Series, PS5, Switch, and Switch 2.
