CloverPit Is... A Roguelite Slot Machine Horror Game, You Say?
CloverPit arrives next month on Steam.

I never thought I'd say the words “roguelite slot machine horror” in the same sentence, yet that's what CloverPit promises soon on Steam.
Honestly, I don't know what else I can say that isn't covered by that sentence alone, but I'll give it a go. Developed by Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, CloverPit aims to mix Balatro and Buckshot Roulette by locking you in a rusty cell. With only a slot machine and an ATM nearby, you're forced to pay off your debt at the end of every round.
Different paths can unfold leading into multiple endings, and there's over 150+ items and synergies to boost your luck. However, CloverPit isn't the sort of slot machine you'd expect from a more traditional gambling experience.
Panik Arcade says this is a story of addiction and escape, and this take on the old gambling game is designed to be broken and overcome. Instead, you'll manipulate it to earn coins, secure different prizes and hit major combos. Bending the rules to pay off your debts is actively encouraged. Unlockable power ups can also be found.
CloverPit launches on September 3 on Steam.
