Arc System Works Showcase Will Reveal Guilty Gear Creator’s Next Project
Expect new reveals and updates on known games.

The Arc System Works Showcase will feature new game reveals later this week, including the Guilty Gear creator's next project.
Airing on June 27, this upcoming summer showcase focuses on "the latest information on Arc System Works" with the promised announcements for new games. This includes a new project from Daisuke Ishiwatari, who designed, produced and composed the soundtrack for the original 2D fighting game Guilty Gear back, most recently working on Guilty Gear Strive in 2021.
This doesn't necessarily mean Ishiwatari's next project will be a Guilty Gear game, though, and no specific titles were otherwise mentioned as being part of the upcoming showcase. However, the predominantly fighting game focused developer and publisher did confirm the Arc System Works showcase would feature updates on previously revealed games.
As such, we'll likely learn more about the upcoming 4v4 fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, which publisher Sony announced would launch in 2026 on PS5 and PC during its last State of Play presentation. Double Dragon Revive, which is being developed externally by YUKE's and published by Arc System Works, is a likely candidate too. That's scheduled for an October 23 launch.
We'll be keeping an eye out for any major reveals, and the showcase airs on YouTube on June 27 at 2am BST (June 26 at 6pm PT/9pm ET).
