A Pinball Game That Makes You Mad Seems Pretty Self Explanatory
One button precision platformer gets public demo on October 6.

A Pinball Game That Makes You Mad seems like a pretty self-explanatory title, and this rage game's getting a Steam demo next week.
Created by Azimuth Studios, A Pinball Game That Makes You Mad is a one button game where you aspire to become a pinball wizard. Climbing through various stages using the flipper to control the ball, this precision platformer promises “hours and hours of utter agony” with a rage inducing premise inspired by Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
It's immediately clear from the Steam page that this is aiming for that similar vibe, advising this will take somewhere between “2-1000 hours playtime (pending skills)”. Optional checkpoints and skips are available alongside unlockable themes, as well as nudging features, which I'd assume is like nudging an actual pinball table. I'm a little worried about why soothing is in quotes next to the narration point, though.
Having recently put myself through Baby Steps again following last week's launch, I am curious about A Pinball Game That Makes You Mad if nothing else. Not so much about the gameplay since that all seems pretty clear, more the “why have you done this?” question I'd love to ask the developers. I'll likely try out the demo soon, and if I do, I'll expand this article with my further thoughts.
